MENA Film Festival 2026 — Open-Air Programme at Amare

Organised in collaboration with West Den Haag, the afternoon programme featured poetry readings, live music and an open stage introducing the festival’s theme, The Cost of Unfriendliness. More than 20 children took part in a hands-on collage workshop. The festival team also handed out flyers and spoke directly with an estimated 50–60 passers-by about the social cost of isolation and what it takes to build connections across different communities. The outdoor setting gave people passing through the square a chance to join the conversation.
