The Iraqi film Wooden Man opens the MENA Film Festival

The Administration of the MENA Film Festival in The Hague announced the screening of the film “Wood Man” by Iraqi-British director Koutaiba Al-Janabi will be at the opening ceremony of the seventh edition of the festival, which will be held from September 27 to 29 next in The Hague, Netherlands.
The film revolves around a human-sized wooden doll who is forced to flee its homeland and its fate crosses with the fates of several characters to provide a vivid picture from the hearts and minds of all those compelled to flee their homelands.
The MENA Film Festival in The Hague aims to support young filmmakers and independent cinema in North Africa and the Middle East region by presenting contemporary visual perspectives to these regions.
