In a style specific to the director at the crossroads between several cinematographic genres, “Kyoko, the harvest season of dreams” probes the relationship with art, space and the Other through the journeys of a Japanese designer, a French contemporary dancer, and a Spanish guitarist.
With a lot of poetry and an aesthetic of the image which is lost in the urban and in the natural, an essential very familiar musical touch, Hamid Benamra also explores the relationship to exile, to integration and the cultural specificity of each while revising, as with each work, their own view of their film.
